Classmate Reunion

It was such a nice feeling to have dinner again with my previous classmates. Initiated by Full Seng and Lucas, finally we managed to meet up after a looooooong time not seeing each other....the only sad thing was that not many people were able to come (including Sharjeel) huhuhu.....Anyways I had an awesome night. It’s very enjoyable that we can just chat about random stuffs and laugh all night long. Sigh..i really miss classes. Anyway, we’re planning to gather again next Tuesday…see ya, guys!!!

Today I went hunting for stuffs in an Indian market together with my mom...my mom went crazy buying saree textiles, and I was like...okay...what should I buy...I looked around for a while, and was very happy when I finally spotted some accessories which were simply adorable. Simply put, I got a set of neon pink bangles, and also these scarves...

Embraced by Braces

Braces are supposedly for men, and kids. But nowadays..who cares about those old-days perception? I think they look very cute on women, and I’m planning to wear it someday along with a bow tie hueehehhehe….Anyways, inspired by Intan, I finally settled on to buy myself one from Topman… yaaaayyyy….:)

I initially wanted to go for black just like Intan’s here…

But after seeing the variety of options they have…I finally opted for this one:

I was so excited to wear mine, so here I am sporting my new braces huehehhehehe…..

I am Jakarta

I’m sensing that I’ll be losing weight again in the upcoming days…I’m so...stressed. Taking up a challenge over your parents is really really tough. Having different wants is already nerve-racking, now proving that I can realize my wants is extremely terrifying me. Sigh….I’m losing my appetite…If you see cars going here and there in Jakarta…you’ll say, Jakarta is so hectic. Well that’s how I feel…hectic…the thoughts in mind are just sparking off to all directions…blah blah blah…

Decorated Phone

Feeling bored of my plain unmodified cellphone…today I decided to buy some stickers to apply onto my phone…I reckon that it looks too girly or bizarre or whatever, but what the heck…I’m now in love with my new decorated phone huehehheh..it’s only the back part though as the front part doesn’t have any space to put some stickers on....

Job Hunter

Okay....here are some updates on my current job… which is....job seeking…huehehe.....

For the past 2 days, I’ve sent my resumes to 9 companies located in both Singapore or Indonesia (Malaysia is kicked out for the mean time heheh). The companies are…Citibank, McKinsey, Accenture, Recruit Express, The Advertiser, Today’s Career, Search Asia, CT HR Consultants, and lastly, my (sort of) top priority for the Indonesia option, PT. Mitra Adi Perkasa heheueh….it’s so tiring to park yourself all day long browsing and browsing looking at job openings…I know I know, this is how real life is…but wouldn’t it be nice… if someone just pops in front of you and say…Hi, I have a job for you....hihihihi....sigh...I hope I’ll get a job soon so I can lessen my parents’ worries and start paying them in return....insya Allah.....please pray for me everyone....:)

Yayyy...after 2 weeks of dating absence, finally I get to meet Sharjeel again huehehhehe...we went to Ikea...bought a lamp for Dr. Khong... had lunch (this one was together with my dad) in Absolute Thai which was absolutely delicious...did some grocery shopping, then ended our day having dinner at Izzi Pizza... sigh...the food was not that tasty, yet the price was quite high...*disappointed*...

Deep Breaths

After having 2 weeks of vacation in my hometown, Jakarta, I'm now back in my second home, KL. It's been a wonderful time seeing my friends and relatives in Indonesia, even though I sadly didn't have the time to meet all of my loved ones.


Deep apologies to Arie, Mas Mada, Yulie, Tyaz and others that I'd promised to visit but didn't have the time to actually do so...My uncle was also in a bad condition when I was there, gone through 2 times of surgery and is still weak till now..My prayers for you from here my dear uncle...hope you get well soon....:)

*Deep breath*
Right now, I'm having some nervous breakdowns...gotta apply for jobs, in which my first preferred location will be Singapore, then Malaysia. If after all the hardwork I still don't get a job in one of those countries..well...what can I say, I'll be looking for one back in Jakarta.

I'm so scaaaaaaaaarrrrred....scared of not getting a job...scared of not being close to Sharjeel's working location....hhmmm...

Okay...there are 2 things that made my day today...

One, is meeting my lovely sis which for sure means having a good time...:)


Two, is having this superlicious chocolate ice cream pie from Hershey's for Burger King....the taste was...superb!! :D


The one thing that...well, it didn't ruin the day...but was just disappointing, was our choice for the movies...Intan and I watched The Invasion, which I think is (sorry to say) quite lame hehehhe..Nicole Kidman's acting was (undeniably) good though..."the pickle" was the story line huhuhuhu.... 2+ and 1- equals...still a happy day!! hahah...:D

Easy D-I-Y for Slippers

I love to wear slippers, flip flops, thongs (whatever you call em...) especially plain black colored ones as they just match with everything I wear on the top hehehhe...

When I was in the elementary school, Dr. Martens’ shoes was the bomb. Oooohhh I looove love loved them...not that I’m bragging about it, but I had quite a few pairs back then hehehhe…yellow, dark blue, floral prints…sigh…I miss wearing them...sadly they discontinued their sales in Indonesia due to the economy crisis we had back in 1998...hmmphh..

Anyway, I don’t know why this brand popped in my mind today…probably cuz flats and jelly shoes seem to be the new craze lately that I just felt I want something different…so here I go, visiting DrMartens.com…found new pairs I wish I had…aarrgghh…

I do agree though, that they shouldn't try to re-enter the Indonesian market as I think Indonesians wouldn't really go for these kind of shoes except for a small group of people...hhmm..I'm in that group heheh...

Another Version of Physical Abusement

I don’t know whether it’s just me or it is actually unethical. These things have happened since way I was a kid, but yesterday it went deep into my mind. Me and my family went to meet up with my dad’s friend along with his family. My dad’s friend, the man, said to me in front of everyone, “Oh my…you’re very skinny…do you eat?”. Then their family looked at each other and giggled. Do I eat?? No, Sir, I don’t. That’s why I’m alive now. Strike 1. Anyway, I laughed as well just to look cool. Then, the man just couldn’t stop talking, that he said to my brother, “Look at your sister…tell her to eat…she’s so skinny…”. Strike 2. Wow. I then thought, if I become a parent someday, insya Allah, and meet my friend’s children, I promise, that I would never ever say those kinda things. Maybe it (looks) normal, for the parent, for the rest of the crowd to hear that and laugh all together as if it’s damn funny. But for the object of the joke, it’s…painful. I just can’t believe, that someone can actually meet a new person, and immediately smack the person with the words of, let’s say, “Hi, you’re fat”. I mean, helloooo?? And yet they think it’s funny. Haha.

Nail Project

I really enjoy the opportunity when I can apply my nail polishers, like today. It’s quite cheerless though, that I only have one color, hot pink, for my current collection heheh…but no worries…I’ll expand the list soon as I get my monthly allowance hihihi…for the must-to-have, I’m planning to get the colors of black, white, nude, bright red and dark red. Here’s how I’m gonna use them:

Plain hot pink, like what I'm wearing right now...
Bright red for the top part, and dark red for the bottom which is applied like a U-shape...

Black with a thin line of hot pink on the edge...
